Earning Well. Not Getting Around to Investing.

You're making money. But most of it is sitting in a savings account, not yet invested.

Cash Sitting in Savings

You've got thousands in a savings account earning next to nothing. You know it should be invested. You just haven't gotten around to it yet.

No Time to Figure It Out

You've looked into investing. There are too many options, too many opinions, and not enough hours. So you keep putting it off.

Advisors Who Sell Products

The last person who offered to "help" with your money was really selling insurance or loaded funds. Hard to tell who's actually on your side when they earn commissions on what they recommend.

Sky-High Minimums

You called a few firms. Their minimums were more than you have. My minimum is $100.

Three Model Portfolios

I'll match you to the right one.

Income Portfolio

Dividends and cash flow Good for: generating cash flow while your career income grows

Dividend-paying companies selected for cash flow — not price chasing. This portfolio can still lose value. Dividends are not guaranteed and can be cut or eliminated at any time.

Growth Portfolio

Long-term compounding Good for: compounding wealth in your 20s and 30s over a long horizon

Companies with durable competitive advantages, held for long-term compounding. Growth investments carry market risk, and your portfolio's value may decline, including over extended periods.

Speculative Portfolio

Higher risk, higher volatility Good for: investors with decades ahead who can handle sharp drops

Concentrated positions in a small number of smaller companies. Higher risk than the other two portfolios. This portfolio may experience significant declines and loss of principal. Suitable only for investors with high risk tolerance.

What you won't pay Amount
Commissions $0
Referral Fees $0
Insurance Sales $0
Early Termination Penalty $0

Not sure which one? Tell me your goals and I’ll recommend one.

All three portfolios hold individual stocks and cash, held at Interactive Brokers in accounts in your name. I have trading authority to manage your investments. I cannot withdraw funds or transfer money out. Interactive Brokers is a SIPC member. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. No portfolio is guaranteed to achieve its objective. Advisory fees do not include potential brokerage costs, transaction charges, or taxes. See Form ADV Part 2A for complete fee details.

How to Start

Three steps. Here's exactly how it works.

1

Review & questionnaire

I send disclosures up front. You fill out a short form about your goals, timeline, and risk tolerance. No commitment required.

2

I pick the portfolio

I recommend Income, Growth, or Speculative based on your answers and walk you through what each actually means: what's in it, what the risk looks like, and why it fits someone at your stage. No assumed knowledge.

3

Sign & fund

Sign online. Fund your Interactive Brokers account. I manage it from there. You get back to your life.

You can stop anytime. No contracts, no exit fees.

I built NarStar for people like you. Early in your career, making good money, but getting ignored by an industry that only wants to talk to people with six figures to invest. That's backwards. The earlier you start, the longer your investment horizon. You need $100 to get started here, not a huge balance.

Before this, I built the software that traders use to make decisions. Analytical tools, backtesting systems, the kind of work where you learn to think in data and probabilities. I use that same analytical approach here, evaluating individual companies for long-term ownership. When you email or call, I'm the one who replies.

NarStar registered in Utah in January 2026. I don’t have years of client results to point to yet. What I do have is my registration, my disclosures, and the fact that your money sits at Interactive Brokers in your name, not mine. Any remaining conflicts of interest are described in my Form ADV Part 2A.

Questions

Things young professionals ask before getting started.

Your 401(k) stays with your employer's plan provider. I can't access it there. What I manage at Interactive Brokers: taxable brokerage accounts and IRAs (Traditional, Rollover, Roth, SEP). If you change jobs and roll a 401(k) into an IRA at IBKR, I can manage that too.

Yes. The minimum is $100. The fee scales with your balance, so you're not paying a flat retainer just to get started. Most advisers ignore smaller accounts. I don't.

Very little. You answer a short questionnaire, review the portfolio recommendation with me, sign an agreement, and open an account at Interactive Brokers. After that, I handle the ongoing management.

Index funds are a reasonable choice and I won't pretend otherwise. The difference is what you get here: I pick individual stocks based on my own analysis, manage the account actively, and you have a real person to ask questions. That costs more than an index fund (0.60% to 1.60% annually) and comes with more risk. If you want low-cost diversification with no involvement, a broad index fund might be the right call. If you want managed individual stocks and someone in your corner, that's what this is.
