How we handle your information
- What we collect
- We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, and any details you share when you contact us or become a client. If you become a client, we also collect financial information needed to manage your account at Interactive Brokers, including account statements and tax information you provide. We do not collect payment card numbers. Advisory fees are deducted directly from your investment account.
- How we use it
- We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiries, open and manage your investment account, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. We do not sell your information to third parties.
- Who we share it with
- We share your information only as required to provide investment advisory services. This includes Interactive Brokers (your custodian), and regulators or legal authorities when required by law. We do not share your information with marketing partners or unaffiliated third parties for their own purposes.
- Security
- Your assets are held at Interactive Brokers in your own name. NarStar LLC has trading authority only and cannot withdraw funds to any account other than yours. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect client information.
- Your rights
- Under Regulation S-P, you have the right to opt out of certain information sharing with nonaffiliated third parties. Because NarStar LLC does not share your information with nonaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes, there is nothing to opt out of in that regard.
